A complex investigation of the hysteresis mechanisms of heat and mass exchange and catalytic flameless combustion of hydrogen-air mixtures on platinum’s particles and wires. Thermal diffusion of hydrogen does not affect the critical conditions for self-ignition mixture unlike conditions extinction mixture. Method is proposed the analytical determination of the hysteresis areas heat and mass exchange particles (wires) catalyst. Inside the areas there is a catalytic ignition, and outside - stationary states of oxidation and catalytic combustion of combustible gas in the air. Keywords: metal oxidation catalysts, wire, hydrogen, hysteresis heat and mass exchange, self-ignition, extinction, shallow (flameless) burning.
