The article presents the history of formation, the current state and prospects for the development of Mangyshlak experimental botanical garden. It deals with the plants introduction in Kazakhstan arid conditions. Based on a comparative analysis of long-term pheno dynamics of growth and development of introductions, conclusions are drawn about the general patterns of their adaptation to desert conditions.
