This study assesses the thermal behavior of different TPMS configurations, specifically examining the Fischer Koch S lattice in comparison to Gyroid, Diamond, and SplitP lattices. Utilizing numerical simulations alongside experimental validation, the research delves into the efficacy of different TPMS designs in enhancing convective heat transfer and fluid dynamics. Results indicate that the Fischer Koch S lattice outperforms other models, exhibiting enhanced convective heat transfer rates and increased Nusselt numbers due to greater areas of contact between the fluid and the solid surfaces and optimized flow patterns. Nevertheless, it also demonstrates significant pressure drops at high Reynolds numbers. These findings underscore the necessity for further research to refine performance based on these insights.
