Vermicomposts produced from waste activated sludges with the addition of sawdust, waste from meat processing and cattle farmyard manure were used for the fertilization of Italian ryegrass as the source of phosphorus. The yields of Italian ryegrass harvested from objects fertilized with vermicomposts were very similar to the yield of Lolium multiflorum harvested from the object fertilized with FYM and significiantly higher than from the control object. The phosphorus utilization coefficient reached the following values; for vermicomposts produced on the basis of waste activated sludge 5.10%, for vermicompost produced from cattle FYM 9.24% and from FYM 19.62%.
