Problem Statement. Exercises using portable objects have great influence on body development and training a large number of motor skills by combining the most diverse groups of motion and specific technical elements. Purpose of Study. We assume that by using physical therapy means and rhythmic gymnastics adapted means (rope, ribbon, ball and hoop) can positively influence a patient's mobility and quality of life. Methods. In this study, we used a sample of four patients in the period January to June 2014, with various disorders of the upper limb: BV (carpal scaphoid nonunion of stage 2), SM (complex fracture, lower extremity right radius), DF (blocked shoulder -Psh) and ID (tendinitis of supraspinatus). Evaluation of patients was performed by applying articular and muscular testing. Findings and Results. The patient B.V. obtained from testing articulation growth between 5 and 10⁰ to the joints of the hand; patient S.M. an increase of up to 10⁰ initial values; patient S.F. with an increase of 25⁰ on flexion, on extension 10⁰, 35⁰ the abduction, on internal rotation 20⁰, on external rotation 10⁰ and horizontal adduction only for 5⁰; patient I.D. achieved a growth of up to 20⁰ flexion, extension and on abduction 10⁰, on 15⁰ internal and external rotation and on horizontal adduction 5⁰. Values obtained from muscular testing for all four patients showed values between F2 and F4 in wrists and shoulder movements. Conclusions and Recommendations. Following the results, we emphasize that physical therapy means combined with rhythmic gymnastics adapted means have proven efficacy, which confirmed the research hypothesis.
