The beloved homeland of Pakistan was acquired for the protection of Islamic laws and values and the implementation of Islamic laws in Pakistan continued to some extent from the first day of the establishment of Pakistan. The first step in Islamic legislation was a resolution aimed at enabling Muslims, individually and collectively, to live their lives in accordance with Islamic teachings and requirements. The Islamic Ideological Council was established to make this ideology a reality. Under Article 230 of the 1973 Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Council was responsible for giving opinions to the Majlis-e-Shura and the Provincial Assembly, under which Muslims could lead their individual and collective lives in accordance with Islam. It is also the responsibility of the Council to weigh the existing laws in the scales of Islamic law, which the Council is fulfilling to the best of its ability. And a general review of the council's performance shows that the council has made more than 6,500 recommendations so far and more than 90 recommendations have been implemented. And in family matters, the council's recommendations on marriage annulment are commendable. The council made recommendations that meet today's most important needs.
