The Importance of Nursing in Caring for Patients with Autism
Abstract
Nursing plays a crucial role in the care of patients with autism, as these individuals often require specialized support that encompasses not only their physical health but also their emotional and psychological needs. Nurses are typically on the front lines, providing direct care and serving as advocates for patients, ensuring they receive appropriate interventions tailored to their unique sensory profiles and communication styles.
