Abstract

In order to think about the configuration of research field on the history of literacy in Brazil, focuses on the academic-scientific productionon the subject, highlighting results of research carried out by different research groups in Brazil, with a design that presents what has been researching the subject. Discusses the movement to set up a field survey of the history of literacy dialogues directly with the historical research on education and the school and which prevail in research on materials, practices, production, utilization and movements of objects for this teaching in primary Brazilian school
