CLINICAL RECOMMENDATIONS FOR DIAGNOSING SEPSIS IN CHILDREN

Abstract

Sepsis is one of the leading causes of child lethality. Timely diagnostics is the most important condition for treating sepsis successfully. This study contains analysis of recommendations on diagnosing the syndrome of systemic inflammatory response, sepsis, severe sepsis and septic shock of the Surviving Sepsis Campaign: International Guidelines for Management of Severe Sepsis and Septic Shock: 2012,published in 2013. The modern perceptions of systemic inflammation during sepsis and sterile inflammation are highlighted.
