Abstract: The research aims to discuss satire in terms of its nature, directions, and mechanisms. The applied study relies on Al-Jahiz's "The Misers" and is based on Muhammad Al-Omari's project in his book "New Rhetoric: Between Imagination and Circulation". All of these inquiries will be addressed using a descriptive approach based on analysis and extrapolation mechanisms. The research led to several results, including: Muhammad Al-Omari succeeded in developing concepts and mechanisms that contributed to crystallizing satire as an independent art. It also provided a fresh perspective and a significant incentive in approaching satire, giving it a serious and purposeful study. Keywords: Satire; Humor; Ambiguity; Astonishment; Involvement.
