The effect of computer crime against family decency and morality, the identification of related legal problems and the formulation of solutions for such problems constitute a major research focus in the jurisdiction of family law and jurisprudence. The areas in which cybercrime against family sanctity and decency are committed include: the preparation, distribution and the trading of obscene pictures; insult and slander; publication of distorted news; defamation; internet fraud; incitement to criminal and immoral acts in violation of morality in cyberspace; procurement of women for prostitution; pornography; dissemination of fornication and indecent acts; and incitement to crime and illicit relationships. The most significant of these crimes are procurement of women for prostitution and pornography, because the other crimes mentioned above fall under the subset of these two crimes. Owing to the significance of these crimes, the present paper examines two crimes, namely procurement of women for prostitution and pornography, and by adhering to the rules of jurisprudence proves their legal prohibition.
