Abstract
The text is dedicated to the study of the new tendencies in teaching Educational Administration in Portugal as well as in the international context. It seeks to elaborate on where the teaching in this area is going, considering its knowledge base and its teaching organisations. The study uses a methodology that draws inspiration from comparative education. To achieve its objectives, it refers to documents, texts, and books, assembling information from the most diverse origins.
