La identidad militar americana en la guerra de Irak, democratización de la tecnología y la representación de la democracia

Abstract

This work addresses the problem of the war experience and itsdocumentary record by the figure of the soldier. In the second war in Iraq the soldiers have been converted into camara photographers and chroniclers of the conflict. Their identity, determined by their condition of participants, changes the poetic representation of documentary; invested with the new audiovisual technology, they are launched to record on behalf of values which we must question the embossing in such films.
