The significance of self-analysis for the professional development of future social sphere professionals
Abstract
The meaning of self-analysis for future professional development of socionomic sphere professionals on the example of students-psychologists is considered in the article. According to the theoretical analysis of different scientific works it is determined that a number of requirements are put forward for of the socionomic sphere professionals, in particular psychologists, including the personality of a professional.It is revealed that an important professional requirement for socionomic sphere professionals, in particular psychologists, is the ability to self-analysis. The self-analysis is considered in the article as the ability of a person to analyze his or her mental properties, actions and to give them an assessment. The correlation between self-analysis, self-knowledge and reflection is reviewed in the article. The self-analysis is determined to be one of the central reflexive mechanisms and important mental activities of the student’s age. Self-knowledge and self-education of a future socionomic sphere professional are based on the self-analysis. It is shown that self-analysis is important for the development of the professional competence of socionomic sphere professionals: it affects successful professional self-determination and self-realization; it is the basis of professional self-determination, it promotes the ability to solve internal problems effectively; self-analysis is one of the criteria of professional readiness, it promotes the development of adequate self-administration, it affects the formation of «Self-conception», professional-role identification, it contributes to the development of professional consciousness, professional competence of the personality etc. The self-analysis ability is supposed to be developed purposefully in the process of professional training.
