Surgical intervention for atherosclerotic stenosis of a carotid

Abstract

The surgical treatment modern methods of atherosclerotic defeat brachio-cephalic arteries are submitted. Complications which arise at endarterectomy and endovascular treatment of carotids stenosis are analyzed. The experimental and clinical data of pathological mechanisms occurring in artery wall after the intervention performing are resumed. The randomized and summed research data of endovascular treatment methods concerning the “gold standard” — carotid endarterectomy are systematized and generalized.
