The paper approach aspects on unit of translation in training of translators. Presents some reviews and critical about some translations the work of Jorge Amado, performed to Russian language. Reports historical facts about the translation in Russia. Also discusses the issues of meaning and sense in the work of L.S.Vigotski and points to possible ways of working in the field of training of translators.
