Transporte e logística: as ferrovias no Brasil

Abstract

This text presents an analysis of changes in the public service sectors in Brazil, principally the railroad cargo sector, which since 1995 has been privatized. It also sought to understand changes in management and logistics made by the new railroad companies. We also propose a new model for concession of public services, since the models realized in the Collor and Cardoso Administrations did not contribute to national economic development.
