The application of delay-time model for technical systems preventive maintenance

Abstract

The 'delay time' preventive maintenance model which is based on the condition of a technical system stated during a scheduled checking, i.e., on so estimated 'delay time' to failure, is presented. In this paper, the optimal interval for 'condition checking' of technical systems is obtained by a simulation technique using the original 'MO-DE-TI' software.
