Entwicklung und Struktur der polnischsprachigen veterinärmedizinischen Hochschulschullandschaft und deren Bibliotheken

Abstract

The article deals with the progression of Polish veterinary schools from their beginnings until now. Furthermore, cooperations among specialized libraries supporting these schools and their ongoing projects and launched initiatives are discussed. Exemplarily the library of the veterinary faculty of Szkoła Główna Gospodarstwa Wiejskiego w Warszawie (SGGW, Warsaw University of Life Sciences) is introduced.
