Significant writing experiences for teacher training

This paper focuses on the importance of training teachers about writing. The teaching-learning process of the discipline – long considered an innate quality – is strongly influenced by the motivation of teachers and their preparation in organizing and conducting meaningful learning contexts. Active and workshop-based training enables teachers to become familiar with writing so they can present it effectively to their students of all ages. Two academic workshop experiences are presented as examples of training.
