Digital tools in the study of social processes

Abstract

The article sets the task of analyzing the use of modern digital technologies not only in various aspects of society, but also in digital resources themselves. The authors believe that modern technologies provide huge opportunities for researchers to collect relevant information, very often even in real time. In this regard, intellectual strategies have changed significantly in terms of the speed of both collection, processing, and representation of research. Thus, digital tools have undeniable advantages over analog techniques. However, to date, digital tools are far from being fully used. This is determined primarily by the level of digital competencies of researchers in the Russian Federation. The Russian scientist corps was formed back in the analog era, so Russian researchers use a very limited list of digital tools.
