The Influence of the Ignition Advance Angle on Noise Characteristics of a Motorcycle

Abstract

The results of applying of electronic system of ignition advance angle control for gasoline engine are considered in this paper. Suggested approaches allow to decrease the general level of a noise, produced by a road motorcycle 3.1135 "Leader", manufactured by "Motovelo", to 3 dB(A) due to automatic setting of ignition advance angle value in correspondence with working regimes of an engine. Suggested approaches can be used during developing of control systems of wide spectrum of engines.
