O cinema avant la lettre: as imagens pró-cinematográficas.

Abstract

This paper discusses how the concepts of the French philosopher Gilles Deleuze affection-image, action-image and image relationship are found in the photograph. It starts with the comparison of descriptions of images made by Deleuze with Peirce’s categories in order to show these categories form a substrate that is not only the images of the film, but other means of artistic production.
