Abstract
On April 12, 2022, the Faculty of Medicine and Psychology at La Sapienza University of Rome organized a meeting to witness the value of peace and not to remain indifferent in the face of war by raising awareness of the situation of the Ukrainian conflict. The initiative was attended by Rector Antonella Polimeni, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Psychology, Professor Vittorio Lingiardi of the Department of Dynamic, Clinical and Health Psychology, Dentico, former director of Doctors without Borders and head of the global health program of Society for international development, actress Federica Fracassi, and musician Marcello Allulli. The dean, Prof. Fabio Lucidi, kindly invited me to contribute to the discussion with my experience in the system of international organizations.
