The semantic and derivational nature of metonymy in the Russian language

Abstract

Article is devoted to semantics and derivational nature of metonymy in Russian. Reviewed and analyzed the processes of reflection of metonymy in the derivative lexicon, and the main types of derivatives metonymy words (on example of nouns).
