The study was performed to determine some biochemical parameters in the blood and the concen-tration of liver marker enzymes in the blood serum, as well as micro- and macroelement level in sheep with liver parasitoses. The correlation of these parameters with morphopathological changes in the liver was also studied. Samples of blood were harvested from sheep to be slaughtered and the liver examination was performed after the slaughter of these sheep. The post-mortem examinations aimed to establish the invasions with Fasciola hepatica, Dicrocoelium lanceolatum and the presence of hydatid cysts with the establishment of morphopathological chan-ges. After post-mortem examination the sheep were divided into groups with various infestation situations: control group; F. hepatica; D. lanceolatum; E. granulosus larvae; F. hepatica and D. lanceolatum; F.hepatica, D. lan-ceolatum and E. granulosus larvae. According to the study, the levels of total protein, total bilirubin and globulin showed a more or less pronounced increase, while the levels of albumin, magnesium and phosphorus significantly decreased. The parameters of the marker enzymes AST, ALT, ALP, GGT showed an increase of their concentration and activity in the blood serum, this fact being more accentuated in the groups with polyparasitism compared to the monoparasitized ones. The severity of morphopathological lesions were closely correlated with the type of parasi-tism: mono or polyparasitism and with the parasite load identified in the body of the studied sheep.
