Theses for the deregulation of urbanism in light of the renewal of the physical planning legislature
Abstract
Present urbanism is not adapted to contemporary forms of development, therefore it is ineffective. Similar to contemporary development even contemporary urbanism should strive to meet forms of dynamically organised systems on the verge of chaos in which development is directed by constant and unpredictable flows. The goals of contemporary urbanism are economic efficiency, social equity and development, which respects resources and human health. Contemporary (deregulated) normative arrangements of spatial management determines development goals and conditions for their implementation, the rest is left over to self-organisation.
