Theophano Mouzalon: new finds – old open

Abstract

In connection with the discovery of a new, third seal of Theophano Mouzalon, archontessa of Rosia, versed in the work hypothesis of the publisher of V. Ulianovsky. Involving data iconography of byzantine seals, “Lyubetsky sinodik”, all known members of the Mousalon`s family, and reiterates the ambiguity of the conclusions V. Ulianovsky.
