The perception of students graduated from mastery in the Autonomous University of Madrid on its competition professional to be "inclusive teacher": a preliminary study

This research -which is a preliminary study within a broad project-, has as objective to find out what is the perception of undergraduates Infant and Primary teacher, concerning professional competences to be teachers able to face the challenges linked to inclusive education. 86 undergraduates have participated in the study. The information has been collected using a questionnaire developed ad hoc basically around the dimensions covered in the “inclusive teachers’ competency profile”, developed in Teacher Education for Inclusion project (European Agency for Special Needs Education and Inclusive Education, 2012). The results show the main strengths and weaknesses in these competencies.
