Pedagogical professional orientation strategy with group focus for the development of pedagogical professional interests

The article is part of the research project Vocational career guidance for entry into pedagogical careers, from the University of Pinar del Río "HermanosSaíz Montes de Oca". Its objective was to develop a strategy of pedagogical professional guidance with a group approach, which contributes to the development of pedagogical professional interests in students from the first to third year of the Mathematical-Physical career. It is an experimental research, in its pre-experiment variants, in which the dialectical-materialist method was assumed as the methodological basis, which supported the use of methods of the theoretical level, used in the determination of the theoretical referents of the research; methods of the empirical level and psychological techniques were used that as a whole allowed to verify the current state of the pedagogical professional interests, in the students from the first to the third year of the Mathematics-Physics career. The elaborated strategy is based on a system of principles, a categorical system and the moments through which the process of pedagogical professional guidance passes. Its implementation in practice allowed the appropriation of the contents related to the pedagogical profession and the teacher's work, the emotional identification and assumption of a positive attitude in the different activities that were carried out, which demonstrates the validity of the proposal.
