Administración jurisdiccional y poder local en Castilla en el siglo XVIII: señorío y realengo en Segovia

Abstract

Castilian territorial administration was founded over two power institutions: jurisdictions and councils. Early modern Spanish territory appears divided in a still unknown number of jurisdictions and councils. This work aims to offer a general overview of Segovia ́s local administration, the officers on charge and the territorial lords. This work results will lighten the seigneurial alienation level, the communal strength of rural and urban locations to build their own govern assemblies and their bound with jurisdictional powers.
