Analysis of philosophical foundations of spiritual curriculum components in elementary and high school
Abstract
The aim of this study is to analyze and explain the philosophical foundations of the components of the spiritual curriculum in primary and high school and its analysis is based on the opinions of professors in the field of spiritual curriculum. The method of this qualitative research was phenomenological. Participants in the study included ten professors in the field of spiritual curriculum who were purposefully selected. Semi-structured interviews were used to collect information. The obtained data were analyzed using thematic categorization and coding. Findings indicated that the spiritual curriculum in elementary and high school with emphasis on epistemological, ontological and axiological angles including: seven main dimensions: ethics, belief in the supernatural, rationalism, aesthetics, humanism, Nature-friendliness and holism; And 40 components in the field of spiritual curriculum. The findings also showed that the inclusion of spirituality in the curriculum of educational centers along with the interaction of these centers with other social institutions provides the necessary conditions for moral and intellectual development of educators.
