THE ARROW AND THE MOSQUET: INDIANS AND BATTLES IN DUTCH BRAZIL.

Abstract

This work will deal with the relationship between Indians (Tupi and Tapuias) and the Dutch West Indies Company (WIC) in Pernambuco. Thus, what we analyze will be: the military alliance between Dutch and brasilianen (Tupi), especially in the initial phase of the Dutch conquest in the Portuguese empire of the South Atlantic.
