El nord-occidental a la ficció de TV3 / The north-western Catalan in TV3 fiction
Abstract
Resum La televisió pública catalana es va crear amb la intenció de normalitzar el català en l’àmbit televisiu i de crear un espai audiovisual comú a tots els territoris catalanoparlants. Es va construir un model de llengua, però basat únicament en l’estàndard en modalitat central. És cert que l’estàndard nord- occidental ha aconseguit fer acte de presència a TVC, però en un percentatge molt inferior. Tenint en compte aquest estat de la qüestió, hem volgut estudiar què ocorre amb el col·loquial mediatitzat, la varietat que s’usa majoritàriament als mitjans de comunicació. El present estudi, doncs, pretén determinar quina és la presència del col·loquial mediatitzat nord-occidental a la ficció de TV3 i, sobretot, quin tractament se’n fa per poder, finalment, assenya-lar quin és el model de llengua nord-occidental emprat. Per a aquest objectiu, s’analitza la llengua utilitzada a les dues úniques sèries televisives de producció pròpia que es desenvolupen en territori nord-occidental (Lo Cartanyà i Gran Nord) i que, per tant, difonen un model de llengua nord-occidental, basat en el lleidatà i en el pallarès, respectivament. Com veurem, sembla que hi ha hagut una evolució en l’ús del col·loquial mediatitzat nord-occidental des de l’any 2005, en què va aparèixer la primera producció en nord-occidental, fins a l’actualitat, però encara hi ha molts prejudicis que, mitjançant la introducció a TV3 de sèries en diversos dialectes i, per tant, normalitzant la seva presència en el panorama televisiu català, ajudaríem a pal·liar. Abstract Catalan public television was created to normalize Catalan on television and to become a common audiovisual space for all the Catalan-speaking lands. A language model was built, but it just reflected the central standard language. It is true that the north-western standard has also appeared on TVC, but to a much lesser extent. Given this state of affairs, we have sought to study what happens to the colloquial version of the language, the variety that it is used mainly in media when it is publicly broadcasted. Therefore, this study aims to determine the presence of colloquial north-western Catalan in TV3 fiction and especially, how it is treated so that we can ultimately determine the north-western language model used. To this end, we analyse the language used in the only two television soap operas produced by TVC which have been developed in the north-western territory (Lo Cartanyà and Gran Nord) which therefore spread a north-western language model based on lleidatà and pallarès, respectively. As we shall see, there seems to have been an evolution in the use of colloquial mediated north-west from 2005 (when the first production in north-western Catalan appeared) until the present. However, there are still many prejudices that we could help palliate, by introducing series in several dialects on TV3 and thus normalizing their presence in the Catalan television landscape.
