This paper presents a reflection about the possibilities of incorporating the smells in the interiors design, more specifically, in commercial environments. Taking a multidisciplinary theoretical framework, encompassing ergodesign and emotional design, we seek to highlight the importance of contemplating the sense of smell in the built environment design.
