Parity index of the educational status of the residents of Karma ‎district ‎for the year (2021)‎

Abstract

The research aims to identify the extent of the disparity in the parity ‌index of the educational status of both sexes (males and females) in the ‌level of educational attainment in the Karma region , and the study was ‌based on a field survey using (712) forms distributed to the administrative ‌units of the judiciary , the study concluded that the parity index was not in ‌favor of females , whether it was positive or negative, the index rose to the ‌lowest levels of the educational status and came positive above (100) and at ‌high levels , this indicates inequality and that females do not have the same ‌opportunity to complete higher levels of education , the index decreased ‌with the increase in the level of the educational level and came below (100) ‌and decreased significantly in the higher levels until the index reached that ‌it did not record any percentage, and this is also not in favor of females , this ‌indicates that the number of males with higher educational levels was ‌greater than the number of females , It is possible to close the gender gap in ‌the future in the parity index by empowering women and giving them the ‌same opportunities as men in all areas of life, including educational status .‌
