The Role of international conventions in determining liability for environmental damage

Abstract

The Industrial bloom has tended to an increase in pollution and its harm on Man and his environment. Hence, the protection of this later and the necessity to maintain it has become an important topic of discussion throughout different media. Also, discussing the dangers resulted from pollution, is also an important part within the international conventions and local regulations. This study is intended to address the environmental conventions concluded at the international level by identifying the most important environmental problems which imposed the existence of such conventions to improve the environmental situations and respect for right of citizens to a healthy environment and the need to protect this right by the state and its institutions.
