Política de indexação para clippings: otimização do tratamento temático em coordenadorias de comunicação social brasileiras

Abstract

The indexing policy constructed from the objectives and characteristics of each institution optimizes the thematic treatment of information and ensure the quality of both the indexing as a retrieval by subject. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the reality of organizational and communicational of the Coordination of Social Communication of the Federal University of São Carlos (CCS-FUSCar), Brazil, from sociocognitive context of the information professionals and users, for the elaboration of a indexing policy of automated systems of Coordination of Social Communication in brazilian university environments. The results showed that the CCS-FUSC does not have a policy and a guide for the systematize the process of clippings indexing. So, we are suggesting to unit the developing of a policy and of a manual of indexing for clippings by their peculiarities.
