A Scientific and Analytical Study of Sīrah Writing in Selected Pashto Books= پشتو نثر میں سیرت نگاری کا ایک علمی و تجزیاتی مطالعہ(منتخب کتب سیرت کی روشنی میں )

Abstract

The importance of Seerah for the Muslims is crystal clear that is why the Muslim scholars and writers focused on it from the very beginning of Islam. Even it get started in the life of the Holy Prophet (SAW). Pashto language, like other major languages contains the Seerah writing of the Holy Prophet (SAW). Actually the Seerah writing in Pashto language is of two types; the first types of books are written for a common man. They are written in a very simple language and style just to get guidance from the Seerah of the Holy Prophet (SAW). In this regard Dr. Saeedullah Qazi (late) wrote an article on “Seerat books in Pashto Language” and published it in “Al-Haq” Monthly Journal of Jamia Dar-ul-Uloom Haqqania, Akora Khattak. The second types of books are written after the deep research and criticism of the narrations related to the Seerah but it is worth saying that no comprehensive research have been carried out so far which can cover these two types of books. Therefore an analysis of the Selected Seerah writing in Pashto Language has been made discussing them one by one. The research question in this work is; Other major languages contains Seerah writing, is there any remarkable Seerah writing in Pashto Language? In this research article, we have tried our level best to answer this question.
