Clinic-pathological Correlation as a Quality Indicator in Cancer Patient Caring
Abstract
Malignant tumours constitute one of the main morbidity and mortality causes worldwide. In 2012 about 14 million new cases were registered. It is estimated that the number of cases o recent diagnosis increases approximately in 70 % in the next 20 years. Cancer constitutes the second worldwide cause of death; in 2015 it causes 8.8 millions of deceases. Almost one of every six deaths is due to this disease.
