Actions glottopolitiques pour les oubliés des politiques linguistiques et éducatives : accueil et formation des personnes exilées et sans-papiers
Abstract
This paper offers to document the glottopolitical actions undertaken for the right to language training for all migrants, especially those who are not targeted by State policies, in the field of organisations. It is based on interviews of ten people who contribute to migrants’ language training, regardless of their administrative status. Six of them are involved with exiled students at the university; four others organize French classes in local community based organisations. The conditions of their commitment and the glottopolitical consequences of their actions on State policies are pointed out. Finally, by taking into account macro-institutional and micro-individual scales, the analysis shows how these people take part collectively in elaboration of language and education policies.
