Valeurs modales et fonction méta-illocutionnaire plurielle du marqueur discursif allons, allons : un désaccord rassurant

Abstract

This article has two main aims. We will argue for and illustrate with the analysis of a discourse marker our theoretical approach to verbal interactions, the Semantics of Verbal Interaction. This approach proposes modal conceptual and semantic representations of speech acts and of their linguistic markers. We also define and illustrate, from this theoretical point of view, a plural meta-illocutionary function of the discursive marker allons, allons. We will argue that its paradoxical value as marker of a reassuring disagreement is based on this function.
