ASSESSMENT OF ECO-GEOMORPHOLOGICAL STRESSESIN MOUNTAIN ECOSYSTEMS BY THE EXAMPLE OF TERRITORIES BETWEEN THE DASHAGILCHAY - GIRDIMANCHAY RIVERS(SOUTHERN SLOPES OF THE GREATER CAUCASUS)

Abstract

We present the results of the analysis of the spatial distribution of the morphometric parameters and define indicators of ecological and geomorphological stresses of geosystems on their basis within the southern slope of the Greater Caucasus in the territory between the Dashagilchay - Girdimanchay rivers. Intensive development of mountain areas leads to a sharp degradation of unstable mountain geo-complexes, which requires a comprehensive study and identification of the patterns of the formation of mountain landscapes.
