This essay offers a translation to a Mediterranean and classical style of the American curriculum of Philosophy for Children, by recovering the traditional Roman and Greek mythological narrative, interpreted as the source of the archetypal European identity and pedagogy. In fact, throughout history, by mean of the myth, the European culture could build upbringing techniques based on sentiment and emotions. Today, as the contemporary world is punctuated by renewed tribal and viral violences, it becomes urgent to reinstate methods and shapes of a discourse and a logos designed specifically for children and pre-teens subject to the dangerous risk of an affective illiteracy.
