The distributing of the Ukrainian banks is analysed on specific gravity of foreign capital and countries of his origin, character of distributing of assets of banks with a foreign capital and belonging is set them to the certain groups in size. The estimation of effectiveness of activity of banks of Ukraine with a foreign capital is given, strong and weak parties of their functioning in the Ukrainian terms are exposed.
