This article examines the impacts of the Haram Boko crisis on the Lake Chad region. This is analyzed as a regional system built on long time, based on relationships (notably mobility and flows of agricultural products), cross-border or not, between spaces with high halio-agro-pastoral potential, more fragile spaces and urban polarities. Production systems were characterized by both their productive capacity, their resilience in the face of environmental variability, and a degree of vulnerability. We describe the consequences of the violence associated with the insurrection of the Boko Haram Group and its repression on the distribution of the settlement, the production and the trade routes, in order to finally question the regional perspectives through two key management issues: water and land.
