DISTRIBUTION OF Ag-Fe-Cu MINERALS IN THE STRIEBORNÁ VEIN DEPOSIT IN ROŽŇAVA
Abstract
Strieborná vein ore deposit is located in south-eastern part of the Western Carpathians, in Slovenské rudohorie Mts., Slovak republic. Ore vein is composed of the siderite and sulphidic ( tetrahedrite, pyrite, chalkopyrite) mineralization. Surrounding rocks are phyllites and metavolcanites. Silver-containing tetrahedrite is the subject of interest. Silver distribution in the deposit is depending on the concentration of sulphidic miner-alization, which is dependent upon the surrounding rock and occurence of the tectonic structures.
