The Effect of Allosteric Learning Model on Students’ Attitudes, Motivations and Academic Achievements in Science Lessons
Abstract
The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of allosteric learning model on students’ attitudes, motivations and academic achievements in science and technology lesson. The study is based on experimental model with pre-test and post-test design. 21 students of 4th grade constitute experimental group and 22 students constitute control group. While lessons are taught in terms of allosteric learning model in experimental group, in control group the lessons are taught according to the suggested methods of science and technology lesson curriculum. It is concluded that allosteric learning model has a positive effect on students’ attitudes, motivations and academic achievements in science and technology lessons.
