Evaluative Features of the Image "Friend" in Phrasal Units of the English Language

Abstract

The article deals with the phraseological units of English. It has been studied English coherent combinations, in terms of the content which is presented by conceptual image of «friend». It has been described phrasal units characterized by the presence of estimated values. The purpose of this article is to examine the axiological potential of the concept «friend». The study is made by separating the minimum, «atomic» elements of sense, promoting the systematization of our knowledge of concepts.
