Cervical cancer (CC) is a major health concern for women due to the high mortality rate. Conventional treatments frequently have significant adverse effects and dismal survival rates, particularly in advanced stages. Nanotechnology provides intriguing options for precise detection and customized medicine delivery. Nanoparticles, when paired with immunotherapy or chemotherapy, can efficiently target cancer cells, resulting in better therapeutic outcomes. This review examines literature published over the past decade, focusing on various types of nanoparticles utilized for CC detection and drug administration, including polymers, biomimetics, and inorganic nanoparticles. This study aims to illumine recent advancements, novel methodologies, and promising prospects in using nanoparticles for the detection and treatment of cervical cancer.
